Ashlee Simpson- The white lily floating…

Ashlee Simpson , younger sister of starlet Jessica Simpson who took upon her sister’s path few years back seems to have made quite a stir in the music industry with her soulful voice and catchy rhythms.

Ashlee has startled the entire music industry with her deep emotional and ethereal voice and classically trained styles. She was a well trained dancer and learnt ballet at the age of eight until she decided that she wanted to be a singer and started training for the same while appearing in TV commercials. She claims that her decision to take up a career in the music industry has nothing to do with her sister being a star and she makes it clear that it was her own decision and that she was not pushed into it.

She became a huge hit with the American audience on the release of her debut album Autobiography for which she received positive reviews from critics. She also garnered negative publicity on her live performance in 2004 when was she found using a pre-recorded voice in her live show which caused her unease and distress for quite sometime! She was scheduled to play two songs for the night, and when her second song started she dint even have the microphone to her mouth after which she realized the error and left the stage. She came back after the show and made up an equally embarrassing story after which she broke down crying. After all Ashlee has always been known as the more sensitive and emotional one of the Simpson sisters. On her 2005 tour the crowd booed her performance as her voice was very offbeat and lacked the usual luster and youthfulness. There have also been speculations that her voice has been digitally altered which lead to some controversy surrounding her.

Ashlee Simpson is known for her lean and curvaceous figure and has never been the one to fall under the pressure of growing thin for Hollywood. She says she feels comfortable in her own skin and does not want to join the bandwagon of ‘thin is in’ regime which is gripping the industry nowadays. She says she prefers to maintain a healthy living by working out and eating right also admitting that it takes a lot of hard work and tight fitness regime to stay in shape and perform efficiently.

Ashlee is also known for her varied hairstyles and colors which she sports at the shows which range from jet black blunt cut fringes to straight limp redhead do. Recently she was seen sporting wispy bangs and straightened hair with her usual short denim skirts and figure hugging chemise.  Girls seem to line up to follow Ashlee’s trend with her quirky style in jewellery that why love links have offered her a great deal to become the face of their latest lovelinks jewellery . 2010 is looking good for Ashlee and we wish her every success!
